Be the kind of craftsman customers remember.
Walk into homes already set up for great work. Walk out with a finished job — and a customer — that earns the Wallace name.

Get great at the work. We handle the rest.
Wallace Paint Co exists so a small group of excellent craftsmen can spend their day doing what they're best at: the craft, the customer in front of them, and the finished work they'd put their name on.
Customers come to us already trusting the brand. We scope the job, set the price, collect the deposit, and send the ticket to your phone with everything you need to walk in and do great work.
The estimating, the marketing, the awkward customer calls, the payment chasing — those aren't your work anymore. They're ours.
I built this for me first. It works. Now I want a small group of craftsmen to be part of it.
Same hands. Same standards. A bigger group of craftsmen carrying it forward.
Wallace Paint Co grew out of Matthew Wallace Painting & Repair. The work didn't change — only the number of homes one set of standards could be in at once.
You're set up to succeed before you knock on the door.
- 01A customer texts a Nashville number. We handle the back-and-forth.
- 02We scope the job, set a fixed price, get the customer's approval, and collect a deposit.
- 03The ticket lands on your phone: address, scope, scheduled date, fixed price. Everything you need.
- 04You show up and do the work that earns the Wallace name. Mark it complete when you're done.
- 05Customer pays the balance. You get paid promptly.
What your name will mean.
Every Wallace Pro Certified Craftsman is held to the same standard — and that standard is what gives the Wallace name its weight. When a customer hears we're sending someone, here's what they expect, and what you'll be known for delivering:
- On time, every time. When we said Tuesday, we mean Tuesday.
- Cleaner when you leave than when you arrived.
- In the shirt, in the truck, treating the home like it's your own mother's.
- The price we agreed on. No surprise add-ons.
- The same standard, whether Matthew's watching or not.
The standard cuts both ways. We hold ourselves and every craftsman to it — and that's exactly why the Wallace name carries weight when a customer hears it. You won't have to figure out what “carrying it” looks like on each job — you'll get a checklist we use on every job, so the customer experience feels the same no matter who shows up.
Everything you need to do great work.
- A customer who already trusts the brand. No selling. You walk in pre-vetted.
- A scope and a price you don't have to defend. Customer agreed before you got there.
- A deposit already in hand. You only show up for jobs the customer is committed to.
- Liability insurance, on us. You work under the brand; the brand is covered.
- The gear you need. Missing a ladder, a sprayer, a way to get there? We figure it out.
- Steady ticket flow. No marketing on your end. No nights and weekends spent quoting.
- Prompt electronic payment. No paper checks. No chasing it down.
- Extra pay for the customers you bring. Have your own lead? Run it through Wallace and earn extra on top of your normal job pay. The customer gets the Wallace experience; you get more than you would have on your own.
- The brand backing your work. When something gets awkward with a customer, Matthew handles it. Not you.
What the Wallace name does for you.
The brand isn't a logo on your shirt — it's something that does work for you when a customer hears it.
- A customer who already trusts the Wallace name doesn't need to be sold to. You walk in pre-vetted.
- "I'm a Wallace Pro Certified Craftsman" says more, faster, than a list of credentials.
- The standard is the credential. As the name grows in Nashville, so does the weight of being one of the people allowed to carry it.
- We protect the credential. We're going to be selective — which is exactly what makes it worth carrying.
Five years from now, “I'm a Wallace craftsman” should land the same way “I'm a Le Cordon Bleu chef” lands in a kitchen — instant, earned credibility. Day one of that long game is the next person we approve.
Who we're looking for, right now.
Trades on the priority list:
- Painting
- Drywall repair
- Finish carpentry
- General handyman / repair
- Light electrical
- Light plumbing
Nashville metro. If you're outside it but think there's a fit, send it in anyway — I'll read it. We deliberately aren't listing a wall of credentials. If you do good work and you'd represent the brand well, I want to talk.
I'm going to be picky about who gets to wear this name. Not because I'm precious about it, but because the whole brand rides on the next person who knocks on a customer's door. If you'd carry the standard, send this in. I read every one.

A few quick questions. I read every one of these. If it's a fit, I'll text you back to set up a time to meet — and then we'll figure out together whether you've got what it takes to carry the name.
